I uploaded 3 pictures of Tyrese at his going away party on April 7th. Also, sorry for the lack of updates.. There really isn't anything new with Tyrese lately except that he's currently filming movies. I hope he updates us soon with what he's up to :-/ Anyways, I'm going to start work on a new layout for the site very soon and add more content.

Private going away party for Tyrese, who was leaving to do the movie, Transformers 2. It was held at the rooftop club of the Standard Hotel in Downtown LA. Nick Cannon was on the turn-tables. The cool part of the night was the surprise Brazillian Samba Dancers and Band that came out to rock the party. It was a rather chill and laid back night. I'm exhausted from all the partying.

Joan Allen plays a Cruella Deville-type baddie. Ian MacShane steals all his scenes, and Tyrese is hardly in it despite being the other main character besides Statham.

"The long rumored "Magnum P.I." movie adaptation is back in the gossip talk again after seemingly dying on the vine last year.

Teletext UK reports that "Dodgeball" director Rawson Marshall Thurber has finished his redraft of the script and in a surprise move has selected much of the cast already.

The report lists that Matthew McConaughey will play Magnum, Steve Zahn will be his friend Rick, Tyrese Gibson the chopper flying T.C., and William H. Macy as British landlord Higgins. read more...

We have some exclusive breaking news from Tyrese aka Black Ty for you. The singer/rapper/actor is used to wearing many hats, but has decided to keep one of them on from now on, until he reaches a certain goal: winning an Oscar.

"I shut down everything on the music side. My new name is Tyrese "Oscar" Gibson", Tyrese told dubcnn. "I'm gonna drop another album after I grad the gold one, no joke!" Ty says he's turned down several collabo's with major artists in the past week to fully concentrate on his new task.

"It was hard, but I know that if I sing on another song, it's gonna suck me right back in the game. I've done 15 years of straight music, and I will do it again. One day. I will do my next album after my Oscar for Best Actor party", Ty said. read more...

A TYRESE GIBSON lookalike landed a role in JOHN LEGUIZAMO's new movie THE TAKE when the actor spotted him fighting with his girlfriend on a street corner. Moulin Rouge! star Leguizamo was driving home from the set of the film in Los Angeles when he thought he saw his co-star arguing with a woman - so he pulled over to see if he could help.

But when he approached the fracas, he realised the guy wasn't the former model - but a guy in a real fight with his girlfriend. Leguizamo stepped in to end the heated row, and to offer the bemused boyfriend the chance to be a film stand-in. JOHN LEGUIZAMO was left battered and bruised on the set of his new film THE TAKE after he was beaten up by beefed-up co-star TYRESE GIBSON.The Latino actor reveals former model Gibson piled on 50 pounds (22.6 kilograms) to play a thug in the harrowing new movie - and the extra weight seemed to turn him into a psycho on set.

Leguizamo, who plays a man struggling to cope with mental rage issues following a gunshot wound to the head, admits his big fight scene with Gibson was authentic - and left him nursing a nasty injury.
